HMVE
CANDEFILT® - HMVE pleated PES (hydrophilic mirrored asymmetric polyethersulfone) membrane cartridges are designed for example as sterilization filters for filtration of beverages (wine, beer, mineral and drinking water, etc.). These elements offer high flow rates and low differential pressures. They can be easily tested before use. The new materials used and the innovative layout ensure a longer service life.
Hobra introduces the new Candefilt® - HMVE, where the "E" stands for Evolution, especially towards greater durability and performance. Compared to the commonly available cartridges of this kind on the market, including HMV cartridges, Candefilt® - HMVE offers:
- Higher effective filtration area and therefore higher filtration capacity
- increased bacterial retention capacity
- higher flow rate of wine and other beverages
- higher temperature resistance
- improved design and higher mechanical resistance
HMVE cartridges are available in 0.45 and 0.65 µm porosity in 10" and 30" sizes.

CANDEFILT filter cartridges are well-tried and proven products intended for different filtration types in all spheres, including the beverage industry or pharmaceutics. The diversity of capture rates in the filter cartridges essentially follows from the variations of the filtration material.
CANDEFILT filter cartridges feature workmanship quality, highly appreciated capacity and, with the use of special membranes, also 100% separation precision. The production range thus covers both filter cartridges of an absolute capture rate and other, for instance pre-filter, cartridges of a rated capturing capacity.
