CANDEFILT HMV membrane filter cartridges feature very good capacity and 100% separation capability. CANDEFILT HMV filter cartridges with pleated asymmetric PES (hydrophilic polyethersulphonic) membranes are specifically intended for final, microbiologically effective wine filtration and are therefore used for microbiological certainty.

The membranes are especially suitable for the last stage of the filtration process, while pre-filtration occurs by means of filtersheets or modules. Membrane filter cartridge functions can be tested prior to and after filtration by means of the pressure resistance test, e.g. on an automatic testing instrument.
